Went to KidZania Kuala Lumpur recently located in Mutiara Damansara. KidZania is an indoor family edutainment centre currently operating in 11 places all over world. KidZania Kuala Lumpur is the 3rd outlet in South East Asia and 11th outlet in the world.

We went on a Saturday and entered at about 11am (it opens at 10am daily). It was already packed when we went in, so I guess it's better to be there as early as possible, furthermore it was a weekend.

At first, I was clueless about KidZania and what was the hype all about. I couldn't imagine what was it like inside Kidzania. Well, as soon as I entered, I was in awe and surprised to say the least. It was like being in a totally different world, where it is like a mini-scale of a big city (imagine New York being compressed into a shopping mall!)

On weekdays, there is a single session from 10am to 5pm. So you get to spend more time inside KidZania on weekdays as compared to weekends. Weekends are divided into 2 session; first session is from 10am to 3pm; Second session is from 4pm to 9pm

A big hit was the Skyrider Training Area, where kids get to be a pilot and flight attendants (Don't blame me if I got my info wrong as adults were not allowed to enter! lol!) From there you can see children really aspire to be pilots, or flight attendants, or maybe they just like aeroplanes. When my son started to queue, the waiting time was about 45 minutes. He got tired of waiting after 20 minutes (kids!)
